Really fun diversion -- Did NOT see this on 9/11

Meryl Streep so nailed Julia Child!! She made me reminisce to the point that I came home and bought a DVD collection of the old TV show! The movie was well done beyond the acting, though. Yes, it was about food -- but really, it was about two women realizing their potentials. The fact that it wasn't smooth sailing for either one made it both hysterically funny and poignant. I was desperate for some escapism from my overly-responsible real world life. This movie hit the spot! Thank you!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
