Marginal movie, good action

I went to see The Green Hornet with my 11 and 14 yr old sons. They really liked the action and the movie. For me, it was one of the worst movies I have seen in a long time, even for a kids movie. Poor dialogue, meaningless scenes, and little plot until the end. And definitely don't spend the money to see it in 3D. Not one scene stands out as memorable because of the technology.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Saw this with my fourteen year old son last night in 3D. The movie is really short and I can't remember one scene where 3D was noticable. It's an ok movie, but better as a rental. Typical Jack Black humor.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Went to Tron 3D with my two boys, 14 and 11. The youngest was not looking forward to it, and frankly neither was their mom. But it was suspensful, had a plot, and was visually stunning. My 11 year old, who thought it would be just a bunch of motorcycles, said it was the best movie ever. It was great fun, and clean entertainment for all of us. And that's difficult with both high school and elementary school sons.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

We tried to get our teenage son to see this movie with his family, but he refused. Too much of a chic flick he said. After seeing it, I know he would have enjoyed it. It was both funny and had a meesage for both boys and girls. Yes, Zach does dance a little bit, and show off some pretty amazing basketball skills, but it was not what the movie was about. I would recommend seeing it for a good time if your preteen or teen is mature enough.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Our family saw this movie last night. I was a bit worried about my almost teenage son when we walked into the theatre and there were mostly grade school kids. But I was pleasantly surprised. No whining or complaining from him. And I heard quite a few laughs. The bedtime story theme allows for many scene changes which kept the movie moving all the time. My youngest son, age 9, laughed his evil laugh several times, so I know we will be quoting from this movie for months. Take the whole family, it really is enjoyable for all. Not often we can take our preteen and grade schooler to the same movie and have everyone love it!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
