Missing vital parts, still a good movie

As someone who enjoyed the books, I felt like they sacrificed too many of the important minor characters in order to dwell on harry and hermione's isolation, but the thing I was most disappointed in not seeing was the chaos at the school while they are gone.
Without that, I have no idea how Part 2 is going to make sense.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
