While not the same as being AT the concert, "Celebration Day" is one of the better films I've seen because you get to see the joy the musicians have playing with - and off of - each other. The one downside was the low volume in the cinema - kudos for the guy who got them to crank it a bit.
Pros great story, great actors

Terrific opportunity

It was a great opportunity to see the movie on the big screen where it belongs and also learn a little bit about what happened 70 years ago when it was made and first released. I have seen the movie many times but caught bits that I have missed in the past. Definitely better than seeing it small on a TV!
I was amused by the reviewer who complained about the ratio - there was a clear message at the beginning that the movie was being shown in the screen format in which it had been originally released. Today’s screen has a different ratio. The only downside I experienced was the woman next to me who kept reciting dialogue and singing loudly. I did not mind when she did it quietly (at first) but I was there to hear the movie - not her.
