I thought the movie was OK. I wish I hadn't spent the money to go see it at the theater. It had a decent plot, although it was painfully predictable. There was no character development, and the videography is not "art" in my world. I agree with another reviewer, the politics left a pretty sour taste in my mouth, and I was in the military for 11 years! Plenty of action, and for a war flick, there was virtually no graphic violence. The movie felt "short" and I was left at the end thinking, wow, ok thats the end? Matt Damon is a great actor, and did a wonderful job in a painfully mediocre movie. I was also really happy to see Greg Kinnear, and he did a decent job as well. Rent this on DVD!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
