This was an awesome movie! As expected from Tarantino; great dialouge, great action, amazing actors, and a beautiful ending. I couldn't have done it any better myself, Quentin.

Not what I expected.

The way the film was marketed, it was really hard for the average viewer to discern that Funny People wasn't just a comedy. Funny People is a dramedy? Well, besides feeling like the pre-views and hype had left me ill-prepared for the film...I liked it. It was hilarious! Sander and a much thinner Seth Rogen have great chemistry and it was fun to watch them interact. With a full arsenal of amazing supporting cast members, Funny People is actually funny!
My only real complaint would have to be that it felt like the movie was an hour longer than it should've been. The whole second half felt unnecessary. Don't get me wrong, I totally enjoyed it. But, still unnecessary.

Predictable

This is a formula film. It's the same romantic comedy/coming-of-age movie that we've been trekking to the thatre to watch for years. Alexis Bledel's performance does not impress. Having watched her play Rory Gilmore for years, I expected more from her. But, like another user said "it's like she's playing Rory after Gilmore Girls, Rory moving on."
BORING.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
