Christian Bale is unrecognizable but in a good way. Excellence standout performance. Love the crazy sisters and the genuineness of the characters. Very compelling story.

Wonderfully Nightmarish Trip

Such a cool movie. I highly recommend seeing it in 3D while you have the chance. It was such a compelling story, cool animation and kinda reminded me of the nightmares I used to have as a kid which makes this the movie you DON'T take children to see. Very creepy, the stuff of nightmares. Teri Hatcher was actually pretty good as the voice for two very different characters. And I love every little visual detail, like popcorn painted to look like flowers or cotton balls as steam from a tea kettle.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Surprisingly Awesome

The thing that attracted me to this movie was that it got great word-of-mouth and it helped that Danny Boyle directed it, too. But I never expected to enjoy it as much as I did. Compelling storyline, well-rounded characters, attention-grabbing editing. Too bad this isn't in many theaters. It's always packed.
