Japanese delight

The first thing that hits you is the visual beauty of the opening frames, and the lovely soundtrack. Since we are so conditioned to American animation productions, this film really catches one off guard, and then pulls you in with its pure childish simplicity. Yet the story itself is intriguing and suspenseful. My three grandchildren, who have been immersed in Disney and Pixar, were captivated by this movie. I was enchanted and uplifted! Definitely worth seeing for all ages of children and adults, except for the most hardened of gun-blazing thrill-busters.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
