Even though it left out a few things from the book, like the cd Edward made her for birthday, and a few other things of that nature, it was still a good movie. If you are a Twilight fan, you'll be happy. If you aren't a Twilight fan, then it's a toss up. It had the typical 'Edward fights for Bella's life' fight at the end. The cool part is you get to learn more about Jacob and that side of the story... the ending will leave you wanting more though...
Yes, I recommend this movie.
