3d Effects ok, movie was great though

I have to agree with some people on this one. I thought the 3D was a waste, but i thought the story was better and the acting was superb. I'm very wary of remakes, but this is one i definitely enjoyed. I also thought it was better than the original.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

At first, I had mixed emotions about the movie, but I have to say that Scout Taylor Compton was the highlight of the movie more so than Tyler Mane. I'm a huge Halloween fan but I understand where Zombie was going with this. The only thing that keeps from giving it a perfect 5 is the use of Sherri Moon. I thought she and the new young Michael were completely useless. Other than that, I enjoyed watching the movie
