Two Thumbs Down! I want my money back!!

This is only the second movie I have ever walked out on in my 50 years on this planet. Cameron stole concepts from The Matrix; Harry Potter; Surrogates; and Jurassic Park and combined them into a simple story only an eight year old child could appreciate. If you're into fantasy, this is an OK movie. If you're into Sci-Fi, avoid this flick. Though the 3D effects were initially stunning, after 10 minutes I grew weary of the only skin deep beauty. Lord help us if this is a sample of what Hollywood deems as the next generation of movies. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!

I enjoyed the provocative story and the almost seamless special effects. The plot was somewhat predictable but still left plenty to the imagination. I give it kudos for not having any drawn out "love scenes" or "Will the boy get the girl?" quandary. Though this chapter ended, one cannot help but wonder what the sequel will bring? Will Victor be able to return to human form and reunite with his wife? Will Victor organize the growing masses of stronger aliens and overthrow the weaker government(s)? Will the aliens return for their friends and/or wage war against all Earthlings for being so mistreated? Tune in in three years and see...
Yes, I recommend this movie.
