I don't know why there are these complaints about the movie. Only ignorant people with ignorant minds would underappreciate the works of someone different. Ponyo is truly a great film, aside to Spirited Away, and Howl's Moving Castle. Someone stated that Ponyo was evil. Nothing was evil. I only saw a father protecting his daughter. Don't we all over react sometimes when it comes to the safety of our children.
My three year old son and seven year old nephew love/d this film. From the reviews, you have to have an open mind away from the typical cartoons/animations we have here in the United States. I'm actually glad to see something for a change. DON'T WATCH THIS FILM IF YOU ARE NARROWED MINDED AND NOT WILLING TO ACCEPT VARIETY !!
