Miyazaki has done it again. This movie was a sheer joy to watch. It may have been, first off, the most absolutely adorable thing I have seen in a long time. I was also initially doubtful but Jonas and Cyrus actually did, in the end, come across as not only believable characters, but also very likable characters.
Even though this is primarily a kids' movie, it is a joy to watch for anyone- The handcrafted art (long live traditional animation!) of the movie is simply breathtaking, and Miyazaki's imagination brings a depth to this movie that makes it insanely entertaining.
Please go see this movie.
