I am a chick who does not like chick flicks, and reluctantly went to this movie and loved it. It is NOT a chick flick. It is about two women trying to find their place in their worlds and being lucky enough to have two wonderful, supporting husbands helping them do it. Guys, this is a great movie to take your ladies to if you want to remind them of how wonderful you are.
Meryl Streep was dead on as Julia Child and brought back wonderful memories of both her show and SNL making fun of her show. The two storylines meshed well together. My only complaint was that I wish there had been more Julia Child - you got disappointed every time it went back to Julie and her neuroses.
