I love all Guy Ritchie movies, but I give this a B-. I love Robert Downey Jr. forever, but he mumbled too much - it was hard to get 'into' the film as I spent too much time trying to figure out what was going on, or what people were saying. Robert and Jude Law had great chemistry. Robert and Rachel McAdams did not. It had a fantastic explosion scene and it had much of the physicality that you'd expect from Ritchie's movies. He also knows how to build tension. Also - Where was the music? I love the music of a Ritchie film. I don't care if it's a period piece, that's part of the fun for me. Liked the movie - The sets were amazing and I would see it again just to browse. But if I look at my watch during a movie, it's not a winner.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I didn't expect to like it as I am not a sci-fi fan. But it was incredible - seamless, gorgeous and worth every penny. The beauty of the plant and animal life was astounding, breathtaking. I never was cognizant of where the animation started and where the real humans began/ended. And we saw the Real 3D version which was an even bigger treat - The music and acting was pretty subtle and you could tell that Cameron was in control of the film - He is a true artist. I want to see this film several more times.
