Realistic War Flick

This was an interesting movie about a group of soldiers with a very dangerous technical duty in Iraq. As a person who has lived in the Middle East, I appreciated the way they filmed it. The Iraqi characters and landscapes were very believable. (It was filmed in Jordan with Iraqi refugees.) The story showed a range of soldiers from macho irresponsible but good-hearted, to responsible but overreactive, to scared shitless. It highlighted how in a war fought among civilians, it is nearly impossible to distinguish innocent behavior from threats. And it showed how danger can be not only dreadful but also addictive.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
