We went with a group of 6, all ages from 25 to 55. We were all riveted, but in a disturbing way. The movie turned dark to the point of EXTEMELY depressing. The audience sat in their seats, like us shocked, depressed, and wanting to talk about it. We needed a little healing. Maybe it's because we have kids...but it was way to depressing to let go of quickly. Several of us had bad dreams the next night, and we had to discuss it the next day just to find a way to let it go. I wish I hadn't seen it. And even my mid 25 year old kids, very open-minded, to the extreme for todays society, felt the same. The last 30 seconds redeemed it a bit, nice little twist, but it couldn't erase the earlier images and emotions it created.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
