Great message but average plot

Huge amount of gratuitous violence that seemed to have no real reason except to show how dangerous the world had become. Very interesting twist at the end but not enough to make it a great film to me. Also, it lost all reality with non fatal wounding at the end and Oldman character not delivering a "finishing" wound. I loved the message and the twist, I just think various plot issues could have been delivered in a more engaging way to make the message and twist even more impactful.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
