Best Acting in Years!

If this film and the two principal actors (aka actresses) are not nominated for Oscars, then there is something wrong. Not an easy film to watch, and certainly not for people who have a problem with human to human emotional contact. But if you admire great acting and want to see true reality (vs. the usual "reality" junk that is shown on US television for a mindless audience), then you must not miss "Precious".
Yes, I recommend this movie.
