Eh...More Isn't Always Good

This movie is the epitome of the excesses of the '90's and 2000's. If a ten minute battle is good then a 30 minute battle must be better. The entire movie was just too long. I found myself sitting there saying "get to the stupid pillars, already". At least once that happened, the battle didn't rage for another hour, which is what I thought might happen.
I'm also not a fan of the excessive blur motion used with the robots. I watched on IMAX, sitting half way back in the theater and still could figure out where one robot stop and another started, who was hitting or firing at who. That made the film boring. This could have been a much better film.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
