Predictable but entertaining

So the only people going to see this movie should be ones that read the books and like it for what it is...simple entertainment-sappy love story--some cool effects. I'm a hopeless romantic who likes fantasy and some scifi so that is why it works for me. Otherwise, it is predictable, has a thin plot and has little going for it as far as a dramatic film. I wish it was 3+ hours long though to get more of the book in--selfish desire to just see it played out on the big screen.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
