An enjoyable movie, Julie & Julia did leave some loose ends. Two were so obvious. As Julie's blog developed "fans," she received food gifts. Clever that they found her, but then it was dropped. As this was fairly early in the blogging process, I expected the food gifts could become a problem -- boxes piling up in the apartment, giving away bottles of sauces at work -- offering a bit in the way of light comedy to a challenging situation, but no. Nothing more happened. Near the end, the comment Julia Child actually made about Julie's blog was negatively vague with no real follow-up. Odd there was no clarification or closure to that conflict. The final loose end would be if Streep didn't recieve an Oscar for her performance! Julia lives!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
