quite good, but little disjointed

Meryl Streep did a wonderful job as Julia Child. Actually wanted more of her and less of the "julie" character (though of course I understand that was the intent of the movie/book). She was played well by Amy Adams but unfortunately found her to be way TOO NEEDY. The back and forth between them lacked a contiguous theme, and became somewhat annoying.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
