I love Meryl Streep, and she didn't disappoint. Amy Adams held her own, and was thoroughly believable. How nice to see such loving husbands, who wanted so much for their wives to be fulfilled and to find their passion. Admittedly, I couldn't wait to get back to the scenes of Julia...her life and the times she lived through. I also loved the way the SNL scene with Dan Akroyd was worked into it. I can see where some might think it was too long, but it wasn't for me. I have to get that cookbook!
