Julie & Julia is a film that celebrates the sensuous delights of food ~ the selection of, the preparation of, the eating of, and the communal blessings of. Contrary to many reviews, by men, I found the weaving together of the two stories of Julie and Julia integral to the film's theme -- that Child, in searching for her own work in life, had an impact on the way others found meaning and community in their own lives.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
