For a "Foodie" such as myself, this movie possesed everything I could have hoped for. Meryl Streep was AMAZING - she did Julia Child justice. Her whit and pure "joy" was very evident. As for Amy Adams - she outdid herself. I saw Julie's need to be something other than she was - her want to be "something" - Amy brought out such great emotion.
I thouroughly enjoyed this movie and will reccomend to friends.
The only downside - I left the theater VERY HUNGRY.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
