For those who love movies with plots based on real people and real life stories, this is a must-see. The joy of life that exudes from the screen is not to be missed. Streep is a powerhouse in her portrayal of a Julia Child who is both the Julia we all came to know via her TV shows and books and the Julia that exists in Julie's mind. And the food....oh, my! If you go see this film hungry, you will exit the theater in a rush to find your next meal be it home-cooked or at your favorite restaurant.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
