Made Me Cringe

I hesitate to watch violent films because I don't want to be desensitized by the gratuitousness so often found in movies. This movie is a great example of how violence should be portrayed, as it left me with a heightened sensitivity toward what our soldiers are facing that I'm STILL thinking about. I appreciated the emphasis on the waiting--the uncomfortable, dangerous calm that is so painful--instead of jam-packing the film with explosion after explosion.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
