A somewhat typical boy-meets-girl, boy-loves-girl, boy-loses-girl theme, but the richness of this film is in the storytelling. The construction of the film is very creative and assumes the audience comes to the theatre with a discernible level of intelligence and ability to grasp a somewhat non-linear storyline (and determine the difference between "real" and "fantasy" sequences). Really delightful casting only helps. Not the best movie of the year, but perhaps the sweetest.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
