I will admit it has been awhile since I've been to a kids movie, so perhaps my expectations were a little higher. The cast of SNL alums were so under utilized. With the comedic talent on hand I would have expected a little more humor - unfortunately it fell flat. There were some OK special effects, but nothing quite flowed. After the movie I asked my seven year-old nephew his favorite part and he couldn't think of anything. He's usually pretty good about telling you the funniest scene or the coolest character, but as soon as we left the theater he had pretty much forgotten the movie. Probably best if you forget it, too.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
