Only Good for IMAX 3D

The visual effects were the best part of this movie. Natalie Portman's role was stupid and the plot was kinda lame (although it had great potential at the beginning). The IMAX 3D experience made the visual effects amazing though

Amazing Visuals

This movie had amazing visual effects but the plot was a little weak. I would have rather this been a re-make of the original instead of a sequel, but I love Tim Burton and would recommend this to anyone just for the visual effects and Johnny Depp's acting. Needless to say, he was incredible in his role.

There were a lot of action scenes in the book that could have been emphasized more in the movie to make it more interesting and not so boring! And what was up with the 3D?! There was only 5 minutes of it in the beginning and most were opening credits! that's it!
