Opera and theater at its best. Casting at its best. Matilla , Alvarez, and Gagnidze are outstanding singers and portray the love-struct, and villanous characters they represent. Gagnidze clearly identifes his character in the first act. The opening of the 2nd Act is a bit too much with its wild women type characters and only subtracts from the tempo established by the singers in the first act.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

An outstanding production.Staging was pure artistry . How can you not like a opera with Florez, but that does not lessen the talent (acting and singing ) of the whole cast. The sound volume, unfortunately, was a bit high. All in all, a pure delight for any opera fan or any virewer. Thank you for making these performances available.
