Sad this couldn't have been the true first movie in the Alien line. It would have made the story line for all of them far more clear! I truly enjoyed the IMAX-3D format for the very first time. It was very..."natural" watching the movie unfold with no kiddie 3D effects. It's hard for me to read the pans for this movie because I thought it was the "answer all" to the Alien legacy. I truly enjoyed it from beginning to end and highly recommend it to sci-fi enthusiasts and especially those who enjoyed all the Alien movies. Even though IMAX-3D is an expensive entertainment still; it's movies like this that make it worth while. See it if you can fit it in your budget!

A bunch of us from work actually left early to see this as a group and none were disappointed! It was a perfect blending of two genres with strong performances by the leads. Special effects were top notch and the aliens were different from any I've seen before. The portrayal of Native Americans was respectful and not incidental to the storyline as well. What a novel concept for a movie that really worked well in all aspects! Thoroughly enjoyable.! This will be an add to my movie collection.
