Good movies but leave the little ones at home

My husband and I loved this movie, as did my 11 year old but leave the little ones at home. There are a few parts that our 7 year old could not handle. The only truly bad part of this movie is that so many important details are left out. The movies still flows but it is still sad to see the beloved book cut down for time.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
