Wonderful experience

While no substitute for a live opera, the film was terrific. The only problem was painfully loud sound at the beginning. Thankfully this moderated as the performance went on. The close-up shots showed the performers as well trained actors; all the singing was wonderful.
All in all a great experience.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
