Slow movie, no thrills

I was glad to see the movie was shot in natural light instead of a blue or brown filter. Johnny was great over all. If the real John Dillinger was menacing back in the day, I certainly didn't get that feeling from Johnny Depp. I did get the feeling that he was conflicted over the brutality of his career choices and the love and good wishes for his friends and especially Billy. Marion Cotillard did a great job, especially in the torture scene. Most of the supporting actors did a great job. Christian Bale was robotic as usual. I would love to see him in a comedy.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
