The Imax 3-D effects are amazing and they blend seamlessly with the live action portion. My 13 and 10 year olds loved it and had no problem with the nearly 3 hour length. Could do without the "Political" message, but terrific none-the-less.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Overall the film was very good. The 3-D, while short, was very good. N longer just the 'throw stuff", it gives an interesting depth to the film. Do wish, however, that more of the Half-blood prince story in there as well as the climactic battle of Hogwarts from the book. The acting is excellent and the kids have grown up and now inhabit their rolls well. Now, lets see how they handle book 7?!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
