The title was a quandary. My 12 yr. old daugher and I were guessing on why the movie was called 500 Days of Summer on the way to see this movie. We had no idea it was the name of one othe the stars. The movie reminded me of european movies, which I try to watch a lot of. I also liked to watch the Sundance channel and IFC. Many of the movies that appear on these channels have more to offer than the action pact. The ending of this movie did not have the tipical happy ending, which invoked feelings of deep thought
