A stalwart example of the youth phenom.

As a latecomer to the Harry Potter story (and one that really had no intention of reading the books) I must say that while I enjoyed the movie, I wish they had chosen to film more of Hogwarts story line, and eliminated the Girl at the counter and the destruction of the Weasly's house. Of course having a higher body count would have changed the ratings. Michael Gambons "Dumbledore" has gotten better with each succeeding movie. I enjoyed Richard Harris' earlier Dumbledore, but I think that Gambon has certainly made the role "his".
Yes, I recommend this movie.
