This movie has refreshing depth, nuance, and outstanding acting performances. If you are looking for a formulaic, loud, superficial, action-packed movie with non-stop blow-up scenes, this movie is not for you. If you are open to what the film has to offer -- an exploration of an underground character coming to grips with his life and lifestyle -- with incredible direction, give it a try. You will not be disappointed. Clooney delivers in his best dramatic role ever.

Pure entertainment that is perfectly spiced with great acting, tasty scriptwriting, and an ending that deeply satisfies. The audience with whom I shared this sumptuous experience broke into spontaneous applause at the end. Nora Ephron and the team she assembled to do this movie are gifted, and the Smithsonian should eventually display Ms Epron's writing desk! Brava! Thank you!

Thank you to Jon Favreau, Robert Downey, Jr, Terrence Howard, and Gwyneth Paltrow for a refreshing action movie. Character's were developed very well to hold interest throughout, and the plot has some interesting twists. The overall subject matter brings social responsibility back to the fore in film without heavy-handedness...superheros are needed in current times, so this is a perfect escapist movie balanced with a bit of gravitas.
