I enjoyed this movie very much - one of the best I have seen in a long time. It showed someone going outside of her comfort zone to do the right thing. Many issues were not sugarcoated and dealt with authentically. I loved it and highly recommend it. Not just a sports movie!!

This was one of the worst kids' movies we have seen. I think my kids laughed twice during the whole thing. My husband and I laughed once. It was ridiculous. My kids thought it was OK, but in comparison to Bolt, or Alvin and The Chipmunks, etc. - it was awful. The concept of family was one redeeming factor, but otherwise we really didn't enjoy it all that much.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
