Loved every minute of this opera! Julie Taymor's costuming and production were fantastic! Erika Miklosa's aria was show stopping! Nathan Gunn was enchanting as Papageno. Many don't realize that in these encore performances there are no intermissions as there are in the live telecasts. I wasn't bothered by this.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Was surprised there was no intermission as it is a long opera and I was used to the break that occurs during the live presentations. The sound at first wasn't the best, but either it improved or I adjusted! A wonderfully talented cast-lots of laughs and a truly joyful time!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
