For anyone growing up who had that rough around the edges grandfather or male figure, this movie will touch your soul! From the time Eastwood arrives on screen, you can't help but laugh. Not at all the prejudices he holds, but the unsaid words...the eyes, the grunts, and body language. If he never opened his mouth, you'd still know what he was thinking! That is the brilliance of his performance! His supporting actors held their own and made the movie flow.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

The singing is just okay. Pierce Bronson seems to be yelling instead of singing and he looks to be in pain.
The acting and characters make up for the singing. They are all having fun and lots of it. Julie Walters has great comedic timing!!
I laughed a lot and was quite entertained.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Non stop laughs

If you have ever watched punked, you know that Ashton Kutcher loves to pull pranks and have a good time. This is probably considered a chick flic, but it is full of "guy" humor and is quite enjoyable.
Quenn Latifah and Dennis Miller have small but important rolls that aid in the laughs.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
