I appreciate an unpredictable movie w/ twists and turns and some confusion. I enjoyed it. Great special effects and some really likeable characters. Of course... an interesting story.
I enjoyed this whole movie. I liked the darker feeling on this one... with villians that were both funny and evil. I thought the storyline was endearing and I enjoyed every minute.
Not a typical Adam Sandler movie per se.... instead of 5-10 great belly laughs and a boring and ridiculous ending..... it was actually funny every minute w/ so many witty things and loveable characters. I laughed alot
Fans have been waiting 9 months for this movie so they will NOT be disappointed. Great storytelling and close to the book (they changed the chronological order of many events to make the movie work). The bluescreen/snowy ridge fakeness was almost unbearable. It didn't even look cold. That bugged me. But of course... I loved the movie because I love the stories and characters.
I enjoyed the first half for the usual girlly connection that is unavoidable w/ these loveable ladies. The second half was pretty ridiculous. I was really surprised at the lack of politically correct storyline and dialogue... which was unexpected and sometimes funny. It got a little drawn out in the middle east and should have been shorter. Anyway, if you are a fan of SATC ... you are going to pay to see it regardless. right???
I think this movie was much better than people are giving it credit for. It was sooo disturbingly twisted and completely outrageous... but I never looked at my watch once. The audience roared with "OH NO"s and "No Way!!!"s and laughed out loud. I definitely enjoyed it.
I enjoyed this movie for its funny lines and very loveable characters. Lots of action. A great 2 hrs of fun. Is is silly? yes Predictable? yes but enjoyable just the same. I am certain there will be more to follow, if not already in the works.
Hey... back in 1984.. the original was considered really scary and soooo completely different. I think that if you are a fan of the original, you will appreciate this one quite a bit. I appreciated the fact that the storyline was similar... but not exact. And the changes.. were actually (believe it or not) an improvement. I was not expecting much... so I actually left satisfied and happily surprised. I can see a non-fan of the original not liking this. I, however, did.
A great , fun ride... and definitely worth the $11.50 for 2 hrs of good entertainment. Of course... it is not as good as the first for a few reasons: I really missed T. Howard. Don C. is a fine actor... but he was NOT Rhodey. Second..the "go get 'em, underdog!!" feeling wasn't there like it was in the first one. Anyway... its enjoyable.
