After watching and having read all the books, this movie has been the closest to the book by far. Parts were taken out to keep it in the time frame but otherwise very well written and acted out. Though a dark movie (and book) there are many times I was laughing throughout the movie.
There were some parts from the book left out that are essential to the last book. Like where the ring came from, where Voldemort's family came from, his past. But otherwise you get all the information you need to be able to deduce what needs to happen in the last movie(s). Worth every penny we spent. Worth the 2.5 hours to watch!
