Good movie but expected a lot more from Tim Burton

I really loved the movie but I did expect it to be a little 'darker' so I was a little disappointed. All of the characters were amazing, especially Johnny of course. I love Tim Burtons films and I think this one was a little safe for him; he usually pushes the envelope and I think he just stuck to same old story, which I love but I did expect more. Still an awesome flick though!

Excellent movie. It is a bit darker than the others and I thought it worked beautifully! This author is phenomenal, and I have not read the books; to be able to come up with such an imaginative story is A-mazing!! Kudos!
