Just can't beat the first one....

We took our 7yo and we are HUGE fans of both 3D and Ice Age. The 3D was not nearly as good as I had hoped. And, while the movie was pretty good, I found myself wishing it would move along. The other 2 had way more laughs for the adults and the quality of the writing was not as good in this one. I'm glad to have found it was the same lovable characters and actors. My daughter loved it! Overall, had I not gone on family discount night, I would have been disappointed had I spent close to $50 to see this at full price. I will tell my friends it's worth seeing but save the money and just wait to rent it. They just can't beat the first of the 3 Ice Age Movies and I think this one was the least favorite.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
