I am so glad this is rated PG 13!! The reasoning behind this rating was very clearly noted. I am certain all parents are truly appreciative of being able to take a close look at these ratings before making tough decisions for their children. I ended up taking my 13 year old but not my 10 yr old (although he certainly protested!!) My son (and I for the most part), felt the special effects were great. He loved it all whereas I, as an adult, felt the non stop action made up for a bit of a stretched story line. At 13 years of age he wants to resurrect some of the more difficult transformers he had......I guess thats what the toy manufacturers wanted!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
