A must see for Xmas!

Went with a friend to see this movie in 3D. It is very well done; there were times when I thought the snowflakes were going to fall right in my lap. The story is told traditionally and appears to use much of the original Dickens manuscript. Jim Carrey's portrayal of Scrooge is an Oscar-worthy performance and there are several scenes that are quite funny.
With that said, I would not recommend taking small children; it is a very dark storyline and my opinion is that it would be rather scary for the little ones. Other than that one caveat, I would heartily recommend it to anyone.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
