Good Movie, poor adaption of book

We enjoyed the movie and believe it is a must see for Harry Potter fans, but we were disappointed in the adaption from the book. J.K. Rowlings wrote terrific material and we didn't understand why the movie makers felt like things needed to be added and changed from the original story. Then there were things that we thought were crucial to plot for the next movies that were left out.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
